Alice Springs Day 7

Thursday 9th August

Now we can relax for a few days.  Noelene & Stan went and visited the Gorges that we did the day before and they were all day.

So after everyone had a nice breakfast the girls hit the shops for some retail therapy and the boys went to the National Transport hall of fame.  We beat the boy’s back to camp which is very unusual.

We were here have a nice cuppa of tea when they arrived and they thought they would like their lunch now.

In the afternoon Kerry, Neville, Robin & Pete took a visit to the Desert Park and Paul & I stayed here and guess what he just had to have a nanna nap for about 2hrs.

The park was hosting Cheese and Biscuits up on the hill so when everyone got back we all went there for 1hr and then back to camp for dinner.

While we were cooking dinner we helped some foreign cook some corn as they tried to cook it on a gas (slow) BBQ and we thought they would be there all night.

After dinner we sat around and talked for awhile, then I decided to ring  Jutta & Werner to see where they were and we found them in Katherine.  Also Ian Bamforth to see how they were going and when they were leaving Brisbane
