We woke up
before the alarm went off which was 4:00am.
When we ventured downstairs Basil (our dog) was waiting for us at the
bottom, he thought he was coming on our W.A. adventure too. I had to have a cuddle and let him know that
he was staying home and the kids would be looking after him, he was not very
impressed at all.
I woke
Melissa which I had instructions to do so as she wanted to see us off, at least
we had her and Basil waving us goodbye at 5:00am, Tim still in bed asleep.
We left home
and met Robin & Pete at Rouse Hill, we had a good run up the mountains and
through Lithgow which was 1degs when we arrived.
Breaky was
at Orange McDonalds at 8:30 and we sat there for awhile and had a chat before
heading off again. There is a lot of
road works today and we have to keep stoping for the go and stop men/ladies.
Next stop
will be Nyngan for lunch.
Left Nyngan at 2:00pm after we have a bite to eat and looked at the birds on the river. Arrived at Bourke at 4:00pm had happy hour and organized the dinner and there was a big fire for the cold night
