Tuesday 4th
September Day 33
Early start
as the wind blew all night so a lot of us did not get much sleep. Nev’s birthday today
We stopped
at a lookout over the very flat country and as we got out of the cars it
started to rain. Now it is time for
morning tea so we pulled into the Overlanders roadhouse, it is still very cold
and a few showers.
We took a
short strole to the stromadilites which was very windy and a great boardwalk. We
had a look at shell beach.
Now straight
into Denham and it is early afternoon before lunch. Booked into Caravan Park and set up.
Took a drive
into the national park to look at big lagoon and then back to town to get
tickets for Monkey Mia for tomorrow.
Big BBQ for
Nev’s birthday and we have a great camp kitchen in the park.
Shackle was
awarded to Pete for collecting a snake and it pooing on him.
