Pemberton - Walpole Day 46

Monday 17th September

Heading out to Gloucester tree after Pete decided to give the late night people an early wake up knock on their door.  This is another climbing tee and up went Paul again all the way to the top.

We had to fill in a couple of hrs until we went on the tram ride so we took a drive to the Cascades we took a walk down to see them and back in the car to Dave Evans Bicentennial Tree.  Paul climbed this one as well and Pete had another go but could not do it.  We then drove around Heartbreak Trail, down to Maiden Bush, Warren lookout and to town ready to board the tram.

Now on the tram as it left at 10:45am and took 2hrs to go through the forest and to the cascades and back again.  We called into the visitor centre before heading out to the Lavender & Berry farm for pancakes ice cream & Berry sauce delicious.

We arrived in Northcliff at 2:00pm and met Kerry & Nev at the visitors centre to find out what is in the area before heading to Walpole.  After doing a tourist drive on the way we arrived in Walpole at around 4:30pm booked into the camp ground set up and had happy hr.

Sat around relaxing this afternoon and after tea before heading to bed.
