Roebourne – Exmouth Day 28

Thursday 30^th August 

We met Fitz’s on the road out of Roebourne at 7:00am this morning as we have 600ks to Exmouth today so a full days driving.

We had a quick stop at Fortescue Roadhouse for fuel and toilet stop the dust was blowing very badly so back in the car and on our way again.  As we were travelling along nicely Fitz’y radio through that they had to stop as there awing on the car was coming off so all stopped to have a look and help him out.

Now it is time for morning tea at Nanutarra Roadhouse picnic area and had a little break.

Continuing on to the Information area before the first turnoff to Exmouth and we decided it would be better to have lunch there,

Easy drive into Exmouth saw whales in the bay on the way to there.  Stopped in at the visitors centre to see what tours we can do.

Just a short drive (30min) to Yardie Creek camp ground which is over on the cape range national park.  Arrived there about 4:00pm booked set up camp happy hr.
